Cookiepolicy.
The short version: nothing beyond what the site needs runs until you say so. If you agree, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used and Google Ads to measure our advertising.
Strictly necessary
These don't need your consent, because the site needs them.
- Your cookie choice
- Kept in your browser's local storage (as 21soho-consent) so we don't ask again on every page. It only records which categories you accepted.
- sb-… (Supabase)
- Set only when a member of 21Soho staff signs in to the admin area at /login, to keep them signed in. A visitor never receives one.
Analytics — only if you accept
Google Analytics tells us which pages are visited, how people find the site, and roughly where they are. We use it to improve the site, not to identify you.
- _ga
- Tells visits apart so they can be counted. Expires after 2 years.
- _ga_7K5RB4PGMR
- Keeps track of your visit for Google Analytics. Expires after 2 years.
Advertising — only if you accept
Google Ads cookies let us see whether our adverts lead to someone clicking through to buy tickets, and let us show our adverts to people who have visited the site.
- _gcl_au
- Measures whether an advert led to a ticket click. Expires after 3 months.
Google may also set its own cookies on its domains for the same purpose. Both analytics and advertising data is processed by Google under Google's privacy policy.
Your choices
When you first visit, a banner asks whether to allow analytics and advertising cookies. Nothing in either category loads until you choose, and rejecting them doesn't change how the site works.
You can change your mind at any time using here or at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent, we delete the Google cookies this site set and stop loading the tags.
Embedded video
The video on the homepage and the podcast studio page is hosted by Vimeo and plays in an embedded player. We load it with Vimeo's Do Not Track setting switched on, which stops the player recording your session or setting its tracking cookies. Vimeo still receives the technical information any server receives when your browser requests something from it, such as your IP address.
Vimeo's own privacy policy is at vimeo.com/privacy.
The map on the contact page
The contact page shows a photograph of the venue with the address on it. The interactive Google map behind it does not load unless you press the button.
If you do press it, Google Maps loads and Google will set its own cookies and receive your IP address, under Google's privacy policy. If you would rather not, the address links straight out to Google Maps in a new tab instead, and the walking times from both nearby stations are printed on the page.
Booking a co-working pass
Passes on the co-working page are booked through Acuity Scheduling. The booking form does not load until you press a pass button.
When it loads, Acuity sets its own cookies and receives the details you enter to book and pay, under the privacy policy of Squarespace, which owns Acuity. If you would rather book on Acuity's own site, the form has a link to open it in a new tab.
